**Xinwang News, February 25th** — On February 23rd, the 6th public welfare event of the "Xin Xin Xiang Ying" New Class Service Group was successfully held at the Party and Mass Service Center of Yichun Second Road Community in Liaoyuan Road Subdistrict, Shibei District. In the new year, the service group has welcomed more volunteer teams, providing citizens with a richer variety of services, ensuring that acts of kindness continue to spread throughout the community. At 9:30 a.m. on the 23rd, the event kicked off with a bustling scene as enthusiastic residents filled the venue. Each booth was surrounded by crowds eager to take part. Volunteer teams, such as the Shibei District Volunteer Service Alliance, joined forces with the Li Guimei Volunteer Service Team from Qingdao Sixth People's Hospital, the Hongyehong Volunteer Team from the No. 6 Branch of Shibei Bus Company, the Zhang Li Elderly Care Team from the No. 4 Branch of Shinan Bus Company, the Gold Medal Volunteer Team from the Bus Driving School, and the Nuanxing 304 Liu Yi Volunteer Team from the No. 5 Branch of the Bus Tunnel Company. Additionally, volunteer teams from the No. 2 Branch of Shinan Bus Company, the Qingdao Chaoguihui Volunteer Team, and the Agricultural Bank of China’s Shinan Third Branch brought a variety of service projects aimed at solving community issues. The Hongyehong Volunteer Team from the No. 6 Branch of Shibei Bus Company and the Zhang Li Elderly Care Team from the No. 4 Branch of Shinan Bus Company offered free appliance repair services to residents. The Gold Medal Volunteer Team from the Bus Driving School provided consultations on safe driving. The Li Guimei Volunteer Service Team from Qingdao Sixth People's Hospital offered free medical check-ups, while the Agricultural Bank of China’s Shinan Third Branch Volunteer Team educated residents on card usage and banking security. Li Fei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Liaoyuan Second Road Community, shared with reporters that the community is home to nearly 4,000 households, with a population of about 10,000, of which around 60% are elderly. "We have a large elderly population, so we make efforts to integrate local resources and offer comprehensive services tailored to their needs," said Li Fei. He also mentioned that at the end of last year, the community established a Party Volunteer Service Station, providing continuous responsive services to local residents. "Our service station consists of eight teams. When residents face difficulties, they can report them to their grid leader, who will forward the request to the service station, where a team leader will assign volunteers to respond quickly. The establishment of this station has made life more convenient for residents, fostering stronger community bonds." In addition to the Volunteer Service Station, the Party and Mass Service Center also features a "Health Cabin" and the "Yichun Cloud Service Box" for the community’s convenience. "We often organize free medical consultations for residents with local hospitals," said Li Fei. "While we've held similar public welfare events before, we've never offered such a wide range of services. I hope you’ll visit our community more often, and on behalf of the residents, I want to thank everyone involved for their hard work!"
