**Field Research Activity: Laying Foundations for Future Growth in Vocational Training** On the morning of February 22, a delegation led by Huang Wensong, Deputy Director and Party Committee Member of the Nanning Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, visited key vocational training centers to conduct field research. The delegation included Party Committee representatives and members from Nanning’s Greentown Southern Vocational Training School. Their goal was to outline the Party Committee’s strategic plans for the upcoming year, with a focus on integrating Party-building initiatives into the city’s vocational training sector. The delegation first visited the Guangxi Public Vocational Skills Training Base, located in the ASEAN Economic Park. During the visit, Huang emphasized the importance of adopting a long-term vision. He encouraged the Greentown Southern Vocational Training School Party Branch to utilize the resources provided by the Party Committee, such as the training base, to broaden their perspective. This, he noted, would help the school refine its positioning and identify new opportunities for innovation and development in both Party-building and business. The Party Branch Secretary of the school echoed these sentiments, stating, "This research visit has helped us clearly identify areas where we can improve. Moving forward, we are more determined to carve our own path and let our Party-building efforts drive our business growth. This will further highlight the value of integrating Party-building into our sector." Following this, the delegation toured the ASEAN campus of Guangxi Huana Haina United Party Branch, a vocational training center specializing in culinary arts. The school, which recently invested 30 million yuan in this new facility, showcased its achievements in both education and Party-building efforts. After touring the campus and learning about the school's progress, Huang praised their efforts. He applauded the school's approach of "rooting itself in the domestic market while looking toward ASEAN," and expressed hope that they would continue to integrate Party-building into their professional activities. Huang further stressed the importance of aligning Party-building with professional ethics, calling for the school to continue its efforts in cultivating both skilled talents and high moral standards. He urged the Party Branch to uphold its social responsibility, focus on student-centered education, and emphasize skills-based learning to contribute positively to society. Concluding the visit, Huang remarked that the Party Committee’s work was at a critical juncture. "The ship has reached midstream, and the waves are stronger; the mountain path gets steeper as we climb," he said, underscoring the challenges ahead. He noted that this research activity marked the starting point for the Party Committee’s plans for the year. Moving forward, the Committee would continue its in-depth research and encourage collaboration within the vocational training sector to push Party-building efforts and improve business outcomes, ensuring that both initiatives reinforce each other for mutual progress.
